About the Journal
The 10th International Library and Information Science Society (I-LISS) 2026 marks a significant milestone in bringing together researchers, practitioners, educators, and students in Library and Information Science from around the world.
Under the theme “Thriving Through Transformation: Innovative, Digital, and AI-Driven Futures for Librarianship”, this conference explores how libraries and information professionals can harness the power of artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and transformative strategies to remain relevant and impactful in the evolving information landscape.
Papers are invited on the above theme and sub-themes, based on research experience or theoretical models, and on case studies from all fraternities, including LIS students, librarians, academicians, research scholars, and IT professionals.
Papers that address the current and future critical issues in information science, library education, and practices are most welcome. The paper will be subjected to double-blind review by the International Program Committee and notified to the contributor(s) as per the time schedule. If the paper is accepted, the author will be requested to register and submit the full paper, which will be published in the pre-conference proceedings.
The extended abstract should not be more than 900 – 1000 words with 2-line spacing. The abstract shall provide the full name of author/s, affiliations, e-mail of author(s) and keywords. The abstract shall consist of background information, objectives, materials and methods, summary of findings and conclusion, etc. The editorial committee's decision on the selection of the abstract is final. Once the abstract is accepted, the decision will be communicated to the authors, who will then submit a full-length paper along with the registration fee. Without a registration fee, the paper will not be included in the pre-conference proceedings. (I-LISS life members are exempt from the registration fee).
